Ra One Highlights
Ra.One has been in the news for more reason than one. Shahrukh Khan not only produces but also plays the lead role in the film. Come; let’s see what is there more important in the movie which makes it more popular, before the release of the movie.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• It is a science fiction superhero flick with lots of stunts. Ra.One means Random Access – Version 1.0 and Shahrukh plays a superhero named G.One (‘Good one’) with Kareena Kapoor as his heroine.
• Ra.One film is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Eros International.
• Ra.One stars Bollywood Badshah SRK, Hot Babe Kareena, Arjun Rampal, Shahana Goswami, Dilip Tahil & Chinese American actor Tom Wu in supporting roles and the most interesting news is that South Superstar Rajinikanth will be playing a cameo role in Ra One. ‘Ra One’ is directed by Anubhav Sinha.
• The music is being composed by music duo Vishal-Shekhar. International pop singer (American rapper) Akon has lent his voice for the film.
• The film is made at a huge budget of INR 1 billion, which makes it one of the most costly movies ever made in India.
• Ra.One will have close to 3500 VFX shots with 800 of them being solely dedicated to G.One`s suit alone thus exceeding the total amount of shots that was used in 2009 Hollywood film Avatar.
• Khan was wearing rubber made costumer that was specially designed for his character.
• Sony Computer Entertainment Europe built a cycle game of the film on Play Station which replicates the film characters. In addition Red Chillies collaborated with UTV India games to design a social game based on the film.
• Ra.One is scheduled to grace 3200 screens across India in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi & German both in 2D & 3D versions.
• Actor Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra would appear in cameo roles.
• This film will showcase superb innovative stunts from the badshah itself. Khan has performed stunts on his own without using a body double. Stunt sequences are designed by a team from the land of movies- Hollywood.
• Ra.One is written by David Benullo, while the screenplay is done by Shahrukh Khan, story by Anubhav Sinha.
• Ra.One is scheduled to be released 26 October 2011.
• Shah Rukh’s Ra.One movie is made keeping in mind the interest of kids and families.
